In the bushes it hisses
And in water it swims
Its skin is slimy and
Slippery,
Desperately it looks for prey.
With its black tongue
The snake aggressively and powerfully
Taunts its enemy
Hoping to scare it to death instead of killing it
Next thing you know! It gives one of its dangerous kisses.

Oh! Those last two lines are brilliant. I wish I had written them!
ReplyDeleteSina--i agree with Fireblossom. Those last two lines are gorgeous... and deadly. ;)
ReplyDeleteI especially love those closing lines as well. And love the poem Fireblossom wrote in response.
